Harassment charge: William Adams, 46, of Long Branch, was charged Wednesday by California police with harassment for allegedly getting into a confrontation with another person March 15 at Tognarina Drive, Long Branch. He reportedly shoved the alleged victim into a door. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Joshua Kanalis.
Items stolen: Eric Richards told North Franklin police Wednesday that a chain saw, refrigerator, Ozzy Osbourne figurine, BB gun, kitchen table, washer and dryer and plastic parts for a dirt bike were stolen from his property at 116 Blaine St.
Card accessed: Jason R. Straight, of 1521 Ridgewood Drive, told North Franklin police Monday his debit card was accessed and used to make $530 in purchases between Feb. 19 and Mar. 19 at a Hollister store in Ohio.
One injured: One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident on Route 19 at 5:27 p.m. Tuesday, township police said. Alan Madison, 57, of 308 Georgetown Road, Canonsburg, was attempting to make a left turn from 2983 Washington Road to travel south, when a driver in the northbound lane, who was not involved in the accident, braked and permitted Madison to pull from the parking lot, police said. However, another driver in the northbound lanes pulled to the passing lane and collided with Madison’s vehicle, police said. Madison was not hurt but the other driver, Kevin J. Jackson, 56, of 6921 Spruce St., Finleyville, complained of neck pain. He was treated at Canonsburg Hospital.
Access device fraud: A township resident told police her credit card was used to make 11 purchases, totaling $689, in Georgia, township police said of the incident reported at 2:37 p.m. Tuesday.
Sunglasses stolen: Two pairs of sunglasses, valued at $500, were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 300 block of Maple Lane, township police said. The theft occurred between Sunday and Tuesday.
