Batteries stolen: Three 24-volt batteries were stolen from construction equipment parked along Lightner Run Road between 4:30 p.m. Monday and 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, state police said. Anyone with information on the theft is asked to contact state police at 724-627-6151.

Machines entered: Vending machines at the Hampton Inn on Route 21 were entered between Feb. 26 and March 26 and money and pop were stolen, state police said.

Motorcycles stolen: Two motorcycles were stolen from Barnhart’s Honda on Washington Road between Jan. 7 and Jan 31, state police said.

Window broken: The window was broken on a vehicle parked at the Dollar General in Morrisville at 1 p.m. March 18, state police said. The vehicle is owned by Dion McDonnell of New Freeport.

Theft: Eight, 31 series Continental batteries and 30 5-foot sections of drilling pipe were stolen from a drilling site on Turkey Knob Road between 6 p.m. Sunday and 7:30 a.m. Monday, state police said. The property is owned by Omni Energy of Caren Crow, La.

Pipes found: Anthony Barchiesi, 19, of Clarksville and Ryan Knight, 21, of Jefferson Tuesday were allegedly found in possession of pipes used for smoking marijuana. Charges are pending results of lab tests, state police said.

Robbery: A person armed with a knife entered the BFS Food Store on Gas Company Road at 12:15 p.m. and demanded money, state police said. The person fled north on Gas Company Road. No further information was provided by police.
