Drug arrest: Ambrea Alexis Taylor, 19, of Penn Hills, was arrested Wednesday by Charleroi Regional police on charges of possession and possession with intent to deliver heroin and possession of paraphernalia after she allegedly sold the drug to an informant and undercover officer at a home at 731 Lincoln Ave., Charleroi. She was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and placed in Washington County jail on $50,000 bond.
Burglary, theft arrest: Anthony Jeffries, 18, who has no known address, was arrested Wednesday by East Bethlehem police for allegedly burglarizing the home of his stepfather, Randy Allum, at 2315 Sandy Plains Road, Clarksville. He is accused of stealing a 12-gauge shotgun, bottle of vodka, jar of change and $50 from a wallet. Police said he turned himself in and admitted to selling the shotgun. The other items he reportedly traded for marijuana. He was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.
Warrant arrest: George Allen Hughes, 64, of 26 North Route 88, Charleroi, was arrested Wednesday by Southwest Regional police after a traffic stop on Route 837, when it was discovered there was a bench warrant against him. He was placed in Washington County jail on a detainer.
Liquor violation: Triple T’s Tavern, 30 Oregon St., was cited by the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for furnishing alcohol to minors. The bureau alleges that alcohol was given to a 19-year-old Feb. 12.
