WAYNESBURG – Greene County Sheriff Brian A. Tennant released the following activity report for April.

• The office processed 91 civil actions and served 47 documents related to civil actions; it processed five real estate sales and served papers related to five real estate sales.

• The office processed five personal property actions and served one document related to a personal property action.

• It processed 13 protection-from-abuse actions and served papers related to 10 protection-from-abuse actions.

• The office processed 93 licenses to carry concealed weapons and one license to sell firearms. It also processed four warrants and served two.

• The office transported four inmates for out-of-state extraditions and 40 inmates for Greene County Court. It also assisted six outside agencies.

• The office made seven traffic stops, resulting in six warnings and one citation. Mileage traveled by deputies for the month was 11,866.
