WAYNESBURG – A Waynesburg woman scheduled to go to trial Thursday on charges she sold heroin to a state police confidential informant opted to plead guilty to the charges.

Tabitha Lee Walls, 27, of 2289 W. Roy Furman Highway, pleaded guilty before Judge Farley Toothman to possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, delivery of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

She will be sentenced following the preparation of a pre-sentence report.

As part of his order, the judge modified Walls bail to $25,000 unsecured bond subject to the condition she undergoes a drug and alcohol assessment and any recommended treatment.

Walls was charged after selling $150 worth of heroin to a confidential informant working with state police on Sept. 8, 2011. The confidential informant had called Walls in the presence of police to order the heroin.

Walls later met the confidential informant on South Washington Street in Waynesburg and sold the informant the drugs.
