Washington – Washington County Maintenance Manager, Adam Smith, announced the following tentative work plan for the week of May 19, 2014. All maintenance activities are conducted on a weather-permitting basis. Motorists should drive with caution throughout all work areas and be alert for signed work zones requiring the usage of headlights.

Slide repairs will be performed on SR 2016 (Lincoln Avenue).

Bridge Maintenance will be performed on SR 2037 (Twin Bridges Road), SR 19 (Waynesburg Road/Amity Ridge) and debris removal will be performed on SR 4002 (Clinton Frankfort Road). Channel cleaning will be performed on SR 221 (Conger Road) and SR 3001 (Lake Road).

Side dozing will be performed on SR 19 (Amity Ridge Road) and SR 18 (Burgettstown Florence Road).

Pipe flushing will be performed on SR 2011 (Beallsville Road)

Stabilize shoulder work will be performed on SR 18 (Hickory Road). Widening of shoulder will be performed on SR 4012(Noblestown Road).

Sweeping will be performed on I-70.

Pothole patching will be performed on I-70 and I-79.

Crack sealing will be performed on SR 1017 (Thomas Road), SR 1019 (Justabout Road) ,SR 1033 (Brownsville Road Ext.), I-70, and SR 40.

Shoulder cutting will be performed on SR 2023 (Bentleyville Road) and SR 2079 (Knob Road)

Signs will be updated, downed signs will be replaced, and work orders will be addressed on various state routes throughout the County.
