WAYNESBURG – A 25-year-old Jefferson woman was injured at 12:02 p.m. Friday when she stepped out from between two parked cars on South Washington Street and was struck by the sideview mirror of a passing car, Waynesburg police said.

Amanda Wooten was taken by ambulance to Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va. Her condition was not available Friday afternoon. Police said Wooten was struck by the mirror of a car operated by Steven Terrill, 24, of Waynesburg.
