The following people appeared recently for sentencing in Washington County Court.

Appearing before Judge Gary Gilman were:

Dontaey L. Clites, 23, 370 Duncan Ave., Washington; manufacture, deliver or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver, delivery of a controlled substance and first offense of DUI; charged June 20; sentence – 9 to 23 months in jail, $1,000 fine and 12-month license suspension.

Darren M. Jolly, 22, 616 Station Road, Scenery Hill; possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding; charged Oct. 21; sentence – 6 months of probation and $60.50 fine.

Corey L. Sexton, 20, 370 Duncan Ave., Washington; possession of a controlled substance; charged Feb. 20; sentence – 12 months of probation.

Devon Johnson-Brown, 24, 806 Catherine St., Duquesne; fleeing/attempting to flee a police officer; charged Feb. 14, 2012; sentence – 3 to 23 months of electronic home monitoring.

Appearing before Judge Valarie Costanzo were:

Dashawn E. Whitaker, 19, 610 Addison St., Washington; three counts of theft from a motor vehicle; charged Aug. 15; sentence – 23 months of probation, restitution and no contact with the victim.

Brittany L. Whipkey, 30, 2700 W. Chestnut St.,Washington; manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver; charged Sept. 30, 2011; sentence – 6 to 23 months in jail.

Paul H. Wright, 45, 1075 1/2 Arch St., Washington; first offense of DUI; charged Oct. 5; sentence – 10 days to 6 months of electronic home monitoring, $1,000 fine, highway safety school and one-year license suspension.

Nahje L. Patterson, 20, 210 Ridge Road, Washington; manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver; charged Dec. 22; sentence – 3 to 23 months in jail with credit for time served.

Ronald W. Wells, 60, 1090 Michigan Ave., Washington, first offense of DUI; charged Aug. 22; sentence – 10 days to 6 months incarceration with minimum on electronic home monitoring, $1,000 fine, 12-month license suspension.

Melinda L. Headlee, 41, 52 Beeson Ave., Marianna; reckless endangerment, driving with a suspended license and first offense of DUI; charged July 18; sentence – 72 hours to 9 months of incarceration with minimum on electronic home monitoring, followed by 12 months of probation, $1,000 fine, 12-month license suspension.

Jamie Barr, 31, 565 Manifold Road, Washington; simple possession; charged July 31, 2012; sentence – 3 to 12 months of incarceration with minimum on electronic home monitoring.

James J. Young, 41, 137 Sunset Drive, Washington; theft by deception and conspiracy; charged Sept. 1; sentence – 12 months of probation, retail theft classes, restitution and no contact with Washington Wal-Mart.

The following people recently appeared in court for first offenses of driving under the influence and were admitted to the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program. If they successfully complete the program, they can petition the court to have their records expunged. Admitted were:
