The polls have closed in Washington and Greene counties and tabulation of the results of today’s primary is beginning. Voters will choose nominees for governor, lieutenant governor, the 9th and 18th districts of Congress and several state House seats, including a race for the Democratic nomination in the 46th District, where incumbent Jesse White is pitted against Cecil Township supervisor Tom Casciola. Washington County Elections Director Larry Spahr said turnout was very low, possibly not reaching 20 percent.
