EXPORT (AP) – Otis Spunkmeyer shut down a Western Pennsylvania production plant, idling 130 workers.

Workers first told WTAE-TV the plant in Export closed Tuesday. The station says 130 people worked there.

Company spokeswoman Kathy Lenkov since confirmed the move, saying work that had been done in the Westmoreland County plant will now be moved to four other U.S. bakeries controlled by parent company, Aryzta AG.

The Swiss company bought the bakeries in 2006.

Otis Spunkmeyer makes cookies, muffins and other baked goods.

Lenkov said the Pennsylvania workers are getting severance packages and help finding other jobs.
