Mapletown to graduate 43
MAPLETOWN – Mapletown High School will hold commencement for 43 members of the Class of 2014 in the school’s gymnasium at 7 p.m. June 6.
Kimberly Cooper of Crafton, owner of Pathfinder Healing Arts, will be the main speaker. Her topic will be “Overcoming Obstacles.” She is a wellness advocate and Reiki Master.
Cooper is passionate about lifting shame, and creates connections through sharing her own stories of vulnerability and feelings of low self-worth. She assists others in uncovering the beauty and grace within and around them, and encourages the creation of a life beyond what we allow ourselves to imagine is possible.
Cooper has been flying for 25 years, since the age of 17. She travels often to facilitate retreats and learn about other cultures. Starting in July, she will embark on a world adventure with her husband and 8-year-old son. The purpose of their trip is not only to reconnect and spend time together as a family, but also to inspire others to follow their dreams, whatever they may be. You can follow their travels at www.PathfinderHealingArts.com.
