Underage drinking: Holly Ann Stinson, 19, of Perryopolis, was charged with disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and underage drinking after California police said she was “annoying and a danger to herself” while at Third and Wood streets shortly after 1 a.m. Sunday.
Two cited for harassment: Linda Hamilton, 21, of Bethel Park, and Demetrius Ward, 18, of Dunlevy, were cited for harassment following an argument between them at 612 High St. in California about 3 a.m. Saturday, borough police said.
Receiving charge: William T. Bunnell, 29, of 115 Rose St., Washington, was arraigned via video from the Washington County jail on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and receiving stolen property. He is accused of driving a car owned by his uncle, William E. Jackson of 109 Dorothy Ave., Canton, without permission in July and selling his uncle’s laptop computer, which was stolen. The computer was later recovered. Bunnell was arraigned before District Judge David Mark, who set bond at $25,000.
Charged in crash: David J. Urbanik, 63, of 421 Wilson Ave., Washington, was charged Friday by state police in connection with a Sept. 26 crash in front of 489 Wayne St., Canton. Urbanik is accused of hitting a parked car and leaving the scene. Police said his blood-alcohol content was double the 0.08 percent limit at which intoxication is presumed. Charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving on the wrong side of the road, leaving the scene and failure to render aid were sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.
Mischief charge: Brandy Bridges, 28, of Weirton, W.Va., will be charged by Chartiers police with criminal mischief after she allegedly was caught on video scratching a vehicle owned by Brenda Worstel of Burgettstown while it was parked Monday in the lot at Progressive Medical, West Pike Street.
Package stolen: Kenneth J. Seybert of 818 Governors Circle told Chartiers police Friday a package that had been delivered to his home was stolen Oct. 24. The item inside the package was valued at $30.
Burglary attempt: Doris Cable, 321 E. Lincoln Ave., told McDonald police Saturday she noticed Thursday the rear porch screen had been moved and placed next to the main window of her home in what she believed may have been a burglary attempt.
Theft charge: Christopher Don Bailey, 28, of 208 Duquesne Ave., Canonsburg, was charged last week with theft by North Franklin police. He is accused of stealing a 24-foot extension ladder from Mitchell Hancher, 1067 S. Main St., Sept. 22 and selling it at a pawn shop.
Tools stolen: Tools were reported stolen Monday from a garage at Maxim Construction, 235 Linden Creek Road, North Strabane police said. This is the second theft at the business in less than a week.
Metal stolen: Charges are pending against two men who allegedly stole scrap metal from outside a home at 158 Munce Road on Monday, North Strabane police said. The vehicle the men used was stopped near 84 Lakes in Somerset, and the metal was recovered.
Church burglarized: Washington police said Friendship Baptist Church at 17 E. Walnut St. was burglarized early Monday. Police said several doors were forced open, but only a video game system worth about $100 was stolen.
