Numerous people recently appeared in Washington County Court for sentencing on criminal charges.
Appearing before Judge Valarie Costanzo was:
Jerrod D. Berry, 30, 76 Circle St., Clarksville; indecent exposure; charged July 3, 2013; sentence – 18 months in the Intermediate Punishment program with first 3 months on electronic home monitoring and offender counseling.
Appearing before Judge John DiSalle were:
Michael J.P. Abriatis, 33, 411 Cleveland Road, Washington; second offense of driving under the influence; charged April 1; sentence – 23 months of IPP with first 6 months on electronic home monitoring, $1,525 fine, 18-month license suspension, 12-month interlock ignition device and restitution.
Derek J. Harter, 24, 19 Meriage St., McDonald; first offense of DUI and no inspection; charged May 23; sentence – 6 months of IPP with first 10 days of electronic home monitoring, $1,025 fine and 12-month license suspension.
Steven M. Rubosky Jr., 25, 2404 Charles St., Munhall; second offense of DUI and reckless endangerment; charged May 31; sentence – 23 months of IPP with first 6 months of electronic home monitoring, 12 months of probation, $1,500 fine, 18-month license suspension and 12-month interlock ignition device.
Thomas Sprowls, 26, 51 N. Main St., Ellsworth; second offense of DUI; charged May 18; sentence – 23 months of IPP with first 6 months of electronic home monitoring, $1,525 fine, 18-month license suspension and 12-month interlock ignition device.
Michael E. Bibel, 27, 29 Orchard Lane, Scenery Hill; second offense of DUI; charged Feb. 1; sentence – 6 months of IPP with first 10 days of electronic home monitoring, $500 fine, 12-month license suspension and 12-month interlock ignition device.
Michael P. Rogers, 61, 50 Tarr Heights Drive, Canonsburg; first offense of DUI; charged June 2; sentence – 6 months of IPP with first 6 days of electronic home monitoring, $1,000 fine and 12-month license suspension.
Kelly A. Stabryla, 26, 125 S. McDonald St., McDonald; second offense of DUI; charged June 2; sentence – 23 months of IPP with first 6 months of electronic home monitoring, $1,525 fine and 18-month license suspension.
Joseph W. Pirt Jr., 38, 105 Castner Ave., Donora; first offense of DUI; charged June 7; 48 hours to 6 months in jail, $500 fine, restitution, alcohol highway safety school and 12-month license suspension.
Brian L. Fodor Jr., 29, 104 Alexander Ave., Strabane; theft, possession of drug paraphernalia and second offense of DUI; charged March 31; sentence – 23 months of IPP with first 6 months of electronic home monitoring, no contact with victim, $1,500 fine, alcohol highway safety school and 12 months of probation.
Harry R. Ringer, 33, 610 Enon Church Road, West Finley; first offense of DUI; charged May 19; sentence – 72 hours to 6 months in jail, $1,000 fine and alcohol highway safety school.
Maurice Jefferson, 39, Raleigh, N.C.; first offense of DUI and false identification to law enforcement; charged June 13; sentence – 72 hours to 6 months with credit for time served, 12 months of probation, $1,000 fine and 24-month license suspension.
Noreen A. Tartt, 56, 940 Loyal Way, Pittsburgh; retail theft; charged Nov. 26, 2012; sentence – 3 to 12 months in jail with credit for time served, retail theft class and banned from Giant Eagle.
Anthony J. Sessa, 27, 408 Gameland Road, Claysville; possession of a controlled substance; charged March 27; sentence – 12 months of probation, contraband forfeited and currency seized.
Justin Vankirk, 31, Wooster, Ohio; receiving stolen property; charged Aug. 7, 2013; sentence – 12 months of probation and restitution.
Virginia G. Smith, 33, 155 E. Sunset Drive, Washington; two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia; charged June 28; sentence – 12 months of probation.
Christopher M. Dolan, 28, 664 Western Ave., Houston; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged April 5, 2011; sentence – 12 months of probation with first 3 months of high-impact supervision.
Sandra Sheppard, 32, 836 1/2 Duncan Ave., Washington; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Aug. 31, 2013; sentence – 12 months of probation.
