Drug arrest: Paul Tipping, 40, of 210 Johnston Road, Bentleyville, was arrested Thursday afternoon by Bentleyville on drug charges. Police served a search warrant at the home and said they found a marijuana plant, two bags each of suspected marijuana and seeds, as well as paraphernalia. Tipping was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger on charges of possession and possession with intent to deliver or manufacture and possession of paraphernalia. He was placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.
Car rolls: Adam J. Kosek of 122 Holly Drive, Houston, escaped injured Thursday night when the car he was driving west on Paxton Farm Road hit an embankment and rolled over, Chartiers police said.
Escape charge: Stephen R. Adams, 29, of 1 Stage St., Clarksville, was arrested Friday by Washington County sheriff’s deputies on a charge of escape. He is accused of failing to return to Washington County jail from work release Oct. 16. He was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger and placed in the jail on $10,000 bond.
Shots fired: Washington police received several reports about shots being fired in the early morning hours Friday along the 200 block of College Street. Police located bullet holes in two homes. Evidence was collected from the scene. Additional information was not available.
