Harmony Presbyterian Church of Wind Ridge will host a puppet theater and covered-dish dinner at 6 p.m. Friday.

The play, “The Lord’s Prayer Explained” by A. D. Mariano, was adapted by Morgan Mooney, Lexie Vandyne and Marcia Sonneborn for this production.

Puppeteer Morgan Mooney brings to life the character of Rosie Elizabeth Ruth and puppeteer Lexie Vandyne makes the character Melissa Anyssa Allisa perform. The play explains the meaning of the Lord’s prayer.

The puppets were designed and made by each puppeteer. Morgan is a daughter of Ryan and Greta Mooney and Lexie is a daughter of Luke and Angie Vandyne.

Following the production will be a covered-dish dinner. The church is providing the meat, rolls and beverage. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish to share.

For more information, contact Marcia Sonneborn at 724-428-4344.
