Southwestern Pennsylvania Water Authority will be flushing fire hydrants this week in Clarksville Borough and Morgan, Washington, Whiteley, Wayne, Greene, Perry, Center, Richhill and Gray townships. Customers may experience a temporary drop in pressure or discolored water.

Waynesburg Central High School will hold its annual Powder Puff football fundraiser beginning at 4 p.m. at the Raider Football Field. The first game held will be freshman vs. seniors, followed by sophomores vs. juniors and third will be the championship game. Admission to the event is $3 and all proceeds benefit the WCHS Class of 2016.

The John Corbly Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will meet at Hot Rod’s Restaurant on South Washington Street at 1 p.m. Saturday. Guest speaker will be Darlene Watson ot the Greene County Veterans Affairs office. Each member is asked to bring a child’s toy for the Toys for Tots campaign.
