California police charge 21 after party

California police charged 21 people with violating the borough’s disorderly house ordinance after receiving a report of a loud party about midnight Friday.

When police arrived at the apartment at 128 Wood St., officers learned the apartment was vacant and occupied only by the partygoers. Police also learned the party was reportedly advertised on social media.

Charged were Cornelius Benjamin, 20, Shimeek Meen Carter, 20, Derrick Lamad Henderson, 20, Brandon Patton-White, 19, Spencer Eugene Payton, 19, and Erik Parry White, 20, all of Philadelphia; Kiara Talee Coccaro, 18, David Lavaughn Edmunds, 20, Myles Stephen Frazier, 18, Saedi Paige Hoelzle, 18, Tyler Jerrell Johnson, 19, Jazmine Shara Rockymore, 20, and James Randall Taylor, III, 18, all of Pittsburgh; Isaiah Javon Hollis, 18, of Acworth, Ga.,; Sasha Angelica Jett of Hershey; Maya Laray Pettiford, 18, of Clairton; Jermaine Rajon Shelton, 18, Tialiah Patricia Teel, 19, both of Coatsville; Mcneal Stewart, 19, of Elkhart, Ind., and Devon Michael Thomas, 22, of York.
