MCKEESPORT (AP) – A 70-year-old man died and a firefighter and another person were injured in a house fire near Pittsburgh.

Firefighters say they found Arthur Periz’s body Thursday night while searching the Versailles home.

A firefighter sustained an elbow injury. Another person was hospitalized with unspecified injuries.

Firefighters say one of about a dozen cats living in the home also died in the fire.

They say the blaze broke out around 11:30 p.m.

An autopsy for Periz is scheduled for today.
