Necklace, rings stolen: Diane Starinsky of 320 Summit Ave. told Canonsburg police Thursday a gold necklace with a gold hummingbird, four diamond rings and prescription medication were stolen from her home.

Employee theft: Management of Olive Oil’s Pizzeria, 596 W. Pike St., told Canonsburg police Thursday an employee stole $40 from the cash register. Charges are pending, police said.

Drug arrest: Dustin Mikec, 33, of 305 W. Grant St., Houston, was arraigned Thursday before District Judge David Mark on charges of possession with intent to deliver heroin and possession of paraphernalia stemming from a July 13 traffic stop by Chartiers police at Fourth and Regent streets. He was released on unsecured bond.

Guns stolen: Terence Gee of McConnells Mills Road told Chartiers police Tuesday guns and two televisions were stolen in a burglary of his home.

Jewelry stolen: Ted Warcholak of Plum Run Road told Chartiers police that the rear door of his home was forced open during a burglary Monday. Jewelry and a camera were stolen.

House burglarized: Ed Roppelt of Spring Street, Coal Center, told Southwest Regional police Wednesday property he owns in Coal Center was burglarized. A chair and floor lamp were stolen. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-929-8484.

Theft charge: Michael Crispin, 51, of Claysville, was charged this week with theft by state police. He is accused of being paid by William Wheeler, 20 Ferguson St., Cross Creek, to do work and buy materials for a project in November 2011. Wheeler told police Crispin never did the work and he never saw Crispin again. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Gary Havelka.

Tailgate stolen: A tailgate was reported stolen Wednesday from a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado at N&N Auto Sales, 1530 Route 481, Fallowfield, state police said.

Drug charges: William G. Hamilton, 60, of 132 Barr Road, Nottingham, was charged this week with possession with intent to manufacture marijuana and possession of paraphernalia stemming from an Oct. 22 incident. Police were called to answer an alarm at his home and said they found four suspected marijuana plants growing on the side porch. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge James Ellis.

Accident: A two-vehicle crash left one person injured Thursday when a driver in a Toyota pickup truck slammed into the back of a car about 5:30 p.m. in the 4000 block of Washington Road. Police said Ugo Crivelli, 51, of Clinton, rear-ended a car driven by Todd Andrews, 50, of Eighty Four, and left passenger Beth Andrews, 49, of Finleyville, with a head and neck injury. She was taken to Canonsburg Hospital for treatment.

Retail theft: Police were notified about 2:30 p.m. Thursday a person at Max & Erma’s restaurant, 4093 Washington Road, was wanted on an active warrant. Police said they arrived and arrested Anthony Shane Coleman, 25, of Maple Ridge Drive, Canonsburg, on an outstanding warrant for retail theft.

Drug arrests: About 1 a.m. Friday, officers said they observed a black Pontiac Grand Am driving erratically on East McMurray Road. Police pulled the vehicle over on Heritage Meadows Drive and were in the process of identifying the occupants when the owner of the vehicle pulled up behind the officers in a red Ford pickup truck. Kara Twardowski, 26, of Highland Ave., Yorkville, Ohio, was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court on drug charges. A passenger in the Pontiac, Gerard C. Glass, 53, of Sycamore Street, Washington, was wanted on a drug warrant. Both were arrested and placed in jail, police said.

Theft, receiving charges: Ryan Rogel, 22, of 6200 Route 88, Union, was charged Friday by Southwest Regional police with theft and receiving stolen property for allegedly stealing items from a house in the 6000 block of Route 88 last month. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge James Ellis.

Vehicles painted: Vehicles owned by Mike Wright, Sierra Tamulinas and Melody Vecchioni, all of Washington, were painted by vandals while parked Thursday in the 100 block of Woodland Avenue.

Glass broken: Washington police were called Thursday night for an alarm at Hair & There, 980 Chartiers St. They discovered the glass in the front door was broken. There was no sign of entry.

Theft charge: Dennis S. Burns, 42, of Wakeman, Ohio, was charged Friday by state police with retail theft for allegedly trying to steal a television from Wal-Mart, West Brownsville, last month. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Joshua Kanalis.
