Several admitted into ARD program

WAYNESBURG – Eight criminal defendants were entered into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program Monday by Greene County Judge Farley Toothman.

Those accepted into the program must serve at least one year probation and pay all fines and costs. Defendants charged with driving under the influence of alcohol also may have their driving privileges suspended and are required to refrain from the use or possession of alcohol.

Those who successfully complete the program can petition the court to have their criminal records expunged. Those entered into the program were:

Joshua G. Lewellen, 25, of 332 Steel Hill Road, Mt. Morris, charged with harassment and simple assault; on Feb. 19, Lewellen punched Danielle Ellis several times at his home.

Lisa Marie Jones, 27, of 164 Wood Ave., Nemacolin, charged with endangering the welfare of a child, simple assault and harassment; on April 30, Jones slapped a child and pinched the child’s ear, leaving bruises. She was entered into the program for two years.

Christina Tiberi, 42, of 734 S. Eighty Eight Road, Carmichaels, charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and a controlled substance and a summary traffic violation; Tiberi was arrested July 9, 2013, after her truck hit a telephone pole in Carmichaels, Blood tests indicated she was under the influence of alcohol and a controlled substance, including hydrocodone. She was ordered to pay $1,530.19 in restitution to Windstream.

Marissa Dale Morris, 20, of 145 Maple Hill Road, Waynesburg, charged with DUI and a summary traffic violation; Morris was arrested March 1 after her vehicle struck a utility pole in Rogersville; her blood-alcohol content was 0.121 percent.

James Wesley Roach, 24, of 69 Cumberland St., Waynesburg, charged with DUI and a summary traffic violation; arrested following a traffic stop March 2, Roach had a BAC of 0.086 percent.

Heather Renee Corl, 32, of 1020 Oak Ridge Road, Waynesburg, charged with DUI and four summary traffic violations; arrested March 1 following a traffic stop, Corl had a BAC of 0.134 percent.

John W. Hardin, 41, of 180 March Ave., Nemacolin; charged with DUI and a summary traffic violation; arrested June 7 following a traffic stop, he had a BAC of 0.141 percent.

Jeannie Lynn High, 42, of 230 Shadow Oak Lane, Waynesburg, charged with DUI; arrested March 1 following a traffic stop, she had a BAC of 0.125 percent.
