Receiving platinum awards as “commendable leaders” were state police Troop B headquartered in Washington, and the police departments from Canonsburg, McDonald, Washington, and Cecil, North Strabane, Peters and South Strabane townships.

Gold awards, the second-highest awards, were given to police from Chartiers and North Franklin townships and Donora, as well as the Washington County Sheriff’s Department.

A silver award went to the Waynesburg police department. Bronze awards went to the departments in Carroll and East Bethlehem townships, Charleroi and the Greene County Sheriff’s Department.
