Trespass charge: Jason Martin, 36, of Mt. Pleasant, will be charged by state police with trespass after he allegedly went onto properties on Oak Ridge Road and Buffalo Creek Road, Blaine, without the permission of property owners Saturday.

Paraphernalia, marijuana charges: Thomas Joseph Darabant, 27, of 62 Bertha Road, Burgettstown, was charged last week by McDonald police with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia and traffic violations stemming from a Nov. 9 traffic stop on Main Street at Route 18, Burgettstown. Police said he was driving his car without headlights at night. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Gary Havelka.

Theft: A piece of copper bar and 35 feet of copper wire were stolen from a cell phone tower in the 300 block of Profio Road Friday, police said.

Drug charges: Robert Garrison, 24, of 444 McChain Road, Finleyville, was charged Monday by Monongahela police with possession and possession with intent to deliver heroin. Police said they noticed a vehicle parked behind a business on Washington Avenue Sunday night and found Garrison inside with 31 stamp bags of suspected heroin. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge James Ellis.

Distributor cited: The operators of Finleyville Beer Distributing, 3711 Route 88, Finleyville, were cited by the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for selling alcohol to a 19-year-old Sept. 22.

Public drunkenness charge: Jules William Redman, 49, of 110 Church St., Midway, was charged by McDonald police with public drunkenness after police say he was found sleeping on the curb at Giant Eagle, 200 Station St., last week.

Disorderly charge: Danyel Patterson, 39, of 11 Youngstown St., Canonsburg, was charged Saturday by North Strabane police with disorderly conduct after she allegedly created a disturbance at Sheetz on Route 19.

Drunkenness, receiving charges: Kurt R. Schussler, 52, of 1363 Meadowbrook Drive, North Strabane, was charged Saturday by North Strabane police with public drunkenness and receiving stolen property after police say he was found at The Meadows Casino, intoxicated and with clothing that reportedly was stolen from Kohl’s. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Criminal mischief: Saturday and Sunday there were 10 reports of damaged or destroyed mailboxes on Fox Run, Double Tree Drive and Maid Marion Lane. Police said some were damaged with pumpkins.

Road rage alleged: At 2:09 p.m. Nov. 15, a woman reported to police that a man was driving aggressively and harassing her while they were driving north on Washington Road. Police said Ronald Stoner of Laurel Drive, McMurray, was charged with harassment.

Garage burglarized: John Lauff of 1002 N. Branch Road, Robinson, told McDonald police Nov. 11 that pipe, copper and brass fittings and a roll of copper wire were stolen when his garage across from his house was burglarized.

Storage units entered: The owner of Champion Processing, Robinson Highway, Robinson, told McDonald police Nov. 11 three large metal storage units had locks cut, but nothing appeared to be stolen.

DUI, traffic charges: William D. Jackson Jr., 29, of Carlsbad, N.M., was arraigned Friday on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and careless driving. Police say his vehicle was found April 28, 2013, stuck in a muddy ditch off Interstate 70 westbound near the Ginger Hill exit, Somerset. He was arraigned before District Judge Curtis Thompson and released from Washington County jail after posting $2,000 bond.

Driver identified: South Strabane police have identified the drivers involved when a tri-axle truck rolled, spilling its load on a vehicle stopped for a traffic light on Racetrack Road last week. Terry Kelley, 22, of 465 Route 40, West Alexander, was driving the truck south on Route 19. The truck, owned by Tarr Redi Mix, 45 Arden Road, Chartiers Township, rolled as Kelley was turning onto Racetrack, dumping its load on a vehicle driven by Stephanie Thomas of Winners Circle, North Strabane. Neither driver was injured, but Racetrack Road was closed for six hours.

Assault alleged: Alberto Moss, 20, of 346 Burton Ave., Washington, was arrested Saturday morning on an assault charge by Washington police after he allegedly dragged Paige Davis outside his home and hit her head off the pavement three times. He was arraigned before District Judge Curtis Thompson and placed in Washington County jail on a $25,000 percentage bond.

Beer distributor charged: The operators of Cappelli Beer and Pop Warehouse, 555 Jefferson Ave., Washington, were cited by the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for allegedly selling alcoholic beverages to a 19-year-old Sept. 22.

Drug charges on IU1 campus: Colin M. Kelly, 18, of 29 Becker St., Houston, was charged by Clark Campus police at Intermediate 1 in Washington with possession of a controlled substance for allegedly having two Adderall tablets Oct. 9. He allegedly received the pills from fellow student Devin J. Gordon, 18, of 893 Rocky Run Road, West Finley, who was charged that same day with possession, possession with intent to deliver and delivery of a controlled substance. Also, during a backpack check on campus Oct. 30, Kendra McCoy, 18, of 150 Oakspring Road, Canonsburg, allegedly had a marijuana pipe in her bag and was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

DUI crash: Mark Anthony Bridenbeck, 32, of 4020 Hancock Drive, Aliquippa, was charged by state police with driving under the influence and careless driving in connection with an accident Oct. 17. Police said Bridenbeck drove too fast onto the Jefferson Avenue I-70 on-ramp heading west and lost control around a curve, then hit a guardrail. Police said Bridenbeck’s blood-alcohol content was 0.092 percent. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Copper burglaries: Three vacant houses were the targets of copper thefts between Nov. 4 and Nov. 8. Police responded to reports of forced entry and stolen copper piping at residences on East Hallam Avenue, Highland Avenue and North Franklin Street.

Burglary: Forced entry was made at an unoccupied residence in the 300 block of Terrace Avenue, the property owner reported to police Sunday. It was undetermined if anything was stolen.

Disorderly conduct: Police responded to a call at McDonald’s on Jefferson Avenue of three males who appeared intoxicated and were yelling obscenities and throwing food and drinks. They were gone when police arrived at 2 a.m. Sunday.

Theft: Nakia King reported to city police $510 and a $200 check were stolen from her purse inside her vehicle Friday. She had made several stops in the Washington area but did not see anyone open her purse.

Vandalism: Four vehicles were damaged overnight Friday at Smith’s Auto Supply at 175 McCarrell Ave. Police said the hoods were damaged, and two cars’ windshields were smashed.
