Rotary Club gala nears

WAYNESBURG – Rotary Club of Waynesburg will hold its fifth Winter Wonderland Gala from 6 to 9 p.m. Dec. 6 at the Greene County Courthouse.
Lavish holiday decorations, fine food, wine tasting, desserts and live holiday music will transform the historic courthouse into a winter wonderland.
This adult-only event will feature food by Hot Rod’s House of Barbeque, Back Bay Catering and Greene County Career and Technology Center. Desserts will be provided by Willow Tree Farms and Chatty Cupcakes.
Entertainment will be provided by Amanda Frampton and Allie Christopher, Brittany and Holly Blair, Claire Kreider and Lucien Schroyer, Ferdinand Dolfi , Nelson Fox and Waynesburg Central High School choir.
Decorations will be provided by The Perfect Arrangement.
Thistlethwaite Vineyards will provide the wine tasting and sales, and jnbphoto will provide holiday photos. The event will feature a chocolate fountain by Trisha’s Treats and silent and Chinese auctions.

Gold Star, Silver Star, Crystal, Snowflake and Patron sponsorships at $5,000, $2,500, $1,000, $500 and $100, respectively, are available.
The gala benefits the Rotary Club of Waynesburg’s charitable causes. Rotary is a volunteer organization with 33,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas.
It initiates humanitarian projects that address challenges affecting the world today, such as hunger, poverty and illiteracy.
Rotary club members represent a cross-section of business and professional leaders around the world.
