The Greene County Ecumenical Men’s Breakfast will be held at 6:30 a.m. Saturday in the fellowship hall of the Carmichaels First United Methodist Church. There will be prayer, communion, breakfast, a speaker and worship. Cost is $8 person, but there is no cost for those attending for the first time. For more information, call 724-966-7123.

Southwestern Pennsylvania Water Authority will flush hydrants in the Nemacolin area Thursday. Customers in those areas may experience a temporary drop in pressure, loss of pressure or discolored water.

The Carmichaels Ministerium is sponsoring the annual Thanksgiving Eve service for the community at 7 p.m. Nov. 26 at the First Christian Church, 235 South Market Street, Carmichaels. A free will offering will benefit the Carmichaels Ministerium. The program for the event is under the direction of the Rev. Reagan Fike and will include several local ministers. The public is invited and refreshments will follow the service.
