League sponosors health program

Members of the Shale and Public Health Committee of the League of Women Voters will present the latest research about the health impact of shale gas hydraulic fracturing and processing at an informational meeting scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Frank Sarris Public Library, 35 N. Jefferson Ave., Canonsburg.

The committee, which includes nurses, a physician and other health professionals, will distribute a free resource guide on the topic. There will be a question-and-answer session. More information is available from Donna Riggle, 724-801-0426 or, by emailing verabonnet@yahoo.com.
