State police investigating attempted assaults

State police are investigating attempts to assault three educators.
In a release, state police said an unidentified school administrator solicited an unidentified school employee to assault Harry Miale, 63, of Canonsburg, Lawrence L. Golembiewski, 62, of Canonsburg, and Philip J. Savini Jr., 54, of Uniontown, at Brownsville Middle School, 5 Falcon Drive, Fayette County, March 31.
Miale was a former Ringgold School District principal and Brownsville Area School District superintendent and assistant superintendent. He currently teaches at University of Phoenix Pittsburgh Campus. Golembiewski was a former superintendent for Ringgold School District and a former Brownsville Area superintendent. Savini is Brownsville’s current superintendent.
An investigation is ongoing.
