Event planned to help with health insurance

Washington County residents can come to the Citizens Library in Washington from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. today to work with enrollment assisters and sign up for or re-enroll in health insurance coverage in the Health Insurance Marketplace during the first Washington County Affordable Care Act enrollment event of this open enrollment period.
The enrollment assisters present will provide free, unbiased, one-on-one help in enrolling in Affordable Care Act marketplace plans.
Potential enrollees are asked to call Beth Humphries of Enroll America at 571-332-475 to make an appointment. Walk-ins are also welcome and will be given appointments on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Potential enrollees are asked to bring:
• Social Security number or document number for each person in your household;
• Date of birth of each person; and
• Employer and income info for each person (pay stubs, W-2 forms or wage & tax statements).
