Three charged: Tyrell M. Davenport, 19, Sean W. Brady, 20, and Julius Rivera, 19, all of 54 Temperance Way, were charged Friday by California police stemming from a loud party at their apartment Nov. 15. Each was charged with possession of paraphernalia, underage drinking and having a disorderly house. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Joshua Kanalis.

Drug charges: Joseph M. Brandsma, 24, of 545 Scott Lane, Peters Township, was charged with possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia in connection with a traffic stop in Carroll Township in April. Carroll Township police said they found Brandsma with 45 stamp bags of heroin during the stop along Fourth Street Extension April 28. He was arraigned Friday by District Judge Mark Wilson and taken to Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.

False information charges: Anthony Frameli, 21, of 527 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, and Vernon C. Fordyce, 52, of Belle Vernon, were charged this week by Charleroi Regional police with unsworn falsification and false statements on a firearms application. The two reportedly made false statements while trying to purchase guns at Tom’s Gun Shop, 607 Fallowfield, earlier this year. Both allegedly indicated on their respective applications they did not have convictions that would prevent them from buying guns. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Larry Hopkins.

Mixer rolls: Richard Jones of Duquesne will be cited by state police after the cement mixer he was driving for C&C Concrete and Donaldson Supply of Canonsburg rolled over Thursday morning on a sharp bend in the 1500 block of Burnsville Ridge Road, East Finley. State police said the mixer was fully loaded and Jones was going too fast, causing the mixer to tip onto its left side. The road was closed for 45 minutes. Jones was charged with failure to drive at a safe speed, careless driving and driving a commercial vehicle that overturned.

Wire stolen: A thief riding a side-by-side all-terrain vehicle entered property of Pole Set Inc., Morris, on Monday and stole a small spool of copper wire.

Employee charged with theft: William F. Kokladas Jr., 39, of 846 Ewing St., Washington, was charged with theft after North Franklin police said he stole $347 from a safe at Hog Father’s in Washington Crown Center. Police said he was working at the food court restaurant Sunday morning when he took the money out of the safe.

Assault arrest: Brian Lee Jones, 38, of 114 ½ Wylie Ave., Strabane, was arrested Thursday by North Strabane police on charges of simple assault and harassment. He is accused of punching Robin Hutchinson in the back of the head and dragging her by the hair. He was arraigned before District Judge Larry Hopkins and placed in Washington County Jail on $25,000 bond.

Stolen vehicle wrecks: A 2003 Ford Expedition that was reported stolen to Canonsburg police crashed and rolled over Thursday night on the ramp from Interstate 79 at the Houston exit, North Strabane. Vincent Gatlin of 10 S. Jefferson Ave. told Canonsburg police he waited over an hour to make the theft report because he thought a friend or relative may have taken the vehicle. State police are investigating the crash.

Copper stolen: Rolls of copper electrical wire owned by JML Construction of Cranberry were reported stolen Thursday morning from the construction site of the Hyatt Hotel at 212 Racetrack Road, North Strabane police said.

Rig wrecks: North Strabane police said a tractor-trailer was driving north on Route 519 south of Linnwood Road about 7 a.m. Friday when the truck-tractor and trailer separated. Benjamin Kjelshus, 37, of Pittsburgh, was driving for ECM Transport and had just picked up a load at International Paper, police said. Traffic was down to one lane in the area until about 11 a.m.

Bar cited: B&B Tavern at 220 Latimer Ave., North Strabane, was cited by the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for selling alcohol to a minor Oct. 23.

Theft charges: Steven W. Gaza, 34, of Masontown, will be charged by South Strabane police with theft by deception and retail theft after he allegedly returned items he had just stolen from Wal-Mart, Trinity Point, for a gift card Thursday. Police said he allegedly went to a checkout counter, got empty bags and then filled them with clothing and sheets. He then left the store and returned with the items, which he exchanged for a gift card before leaving again, police said. The gift card was canceled by the store. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Drug charges: Shawn Carroll, 32, of 340 Canton Ave., Washington, was charged with possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and marijuana possession following a traffic stop near his home shortly before 10 a.m. Friday. District Judge Robert Redlinger arraigned Carroll and set his bond at $25,000.
