NEW CASTLE (AP) – A western Pennsylvania man has been jailed on charges that fatally shot an Ohio woman during a drug-related argument over his cellphone.

Online court records don’t list an attorney for 40-year-old Robert Johns. He’s charged with criminal homicide and abuse of a corpse for allegedly shooting 26-year-old Amanda Seman, of Youngstown, Ohio.

Her body was found Friday in John’s home in Neshannock Township, covered with a blanket and a plastic bag. But police say Johns told them he shot Seman on Tuesday.

Johns tells police that Seman had a drug problem and asked him for money and when he wouldn’t give it to Seman, she took his cellphone. Police say Johns shot Seman when she wouldn’t return the phone.

Seman’s body was found after her relatives asked police to check on her.
