GREENSBURG (AP) – The girlfriend of a Western Pennsylvania man killed after a standoff with police last year =pleaded guilty to stealing two guns she gave him that day.

The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reported 27-year-old Julian Upholster, of Latrobe, pleaded guilty to robbery, conspiracy and firearms offenses.

Westmoreland County prosecutors say she stole the guns from a roommate before giving them to 46-year-old Scott Murphy, who used one weapon to rob a pharmacy of painkillers on July 18, 2013.

Police fatally shot Murphy in the ensuing standoff at his home, after he wounded a state trooper in the eye. Murphy’s shot hit the trooper’s helmet and face shield, which authorities say saved the officer’s life.

Upholster faces up to 27 years in prison when she’s sentenced in about three months.
