Two charged: Cameron Johnson, 22, of Donora, and Aubrea S. Hempel, 19, of Manor, were charged by California police in connection with an incident early Sunday at Wood and Third streets. Johnson is charged with disorderly conduct for causing a disturbance and using obscene language while yelling at Hempel. She is charged with underage drinking and public drunkenness. Police said they took her to the California University of Pennsylvania infirmary because of her level of intoxication. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Joshua Kanalis.

DUI charge: Nichol M. Anderson, 33, of 1041 Burgettstown Road, Burgettstown, will be charged with driving under the influence after crashing her vehicle into a utility pole on West Pike Street near the Houston line early Saturday, Canonsburg police said. She allegedly told police she had ingested heroin and Xanax. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Phony prescription charge: Chad R. Mitchell, 31, of 114 Allen Ave., Belle Vernon, is charged by township police with illegally obtaining a controlled substance, forgery and criminal use of a communication facility, court records state. Police accuse Mitchell of faxing a prescription signed by someone other than a physician for 180 doses of Alprazolam to a Giant Eagle pharmacy, 1300 Country Club Road, about 2:30 p.m. Nov. 10. He is in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond set Monday by District Judge Larry Hopkins.

Man jailed: Kealen Dukes, 26, of 301 Isabella Ave., North Charleroi, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct, accused of striking his girlfriend, Sandra Price, in the face about 7:20 p.m. Sunday in the 400 block of Conrad Avenue. He is in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond set by District Judge Larry Hopkins.

Drug arrest: Mark Trilli, 54, of 14 Mellon Ave., Donora, is charged by borough police with drug possession with intent to deliver, drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia, court records show. Police accuse Trilli of having 14 grams of marijuana in a glass jar and a large sum of money during a traffic stop about 9:30 p.m. Friday on the Donora-Monessen Bridge. He is free on $25,000 bond set by District Judge Larry Hopkins.

Driver sought: McDonald police are looking for the driver of a white GMC pickup truck that struck a parked vehicle in the parking lot of Michael’s Tavern, 341 E. Lincoln St., about 8:45 p.m. Friday. The owner of the struck car, Nicole Lee Kelly, was inside the bar. The front of her car had moderate damage, police said. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-926-2105.

Yard damaged: McDonald police are looking for the vehicle that was driven through the yard and property of Ashley D’Angelo, 103 Front St., Midway, Saturday and Sunday. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-926-2105.

McGinty, 41, of 1117 Lawton St., Monongahela, is charged by city police with drug possession, possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia stemming from a traffic stop about 4:30 p.m. Sunday at 12th and Chess streets. He is in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond set by District Judge Larry Hopkins.

Marijuana charges: Two teens were detained early Monday morning after North Franklin police said they found them smoking marijuana in a parked car at BSI Way and Trich Drive in the township. Hunter D. McMahon, 19, of 135 Henderson Ave., Washington, and Shae A. Closser, 18, of Taylorstown, were charged with marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia after an officer spotted them in the car about 2 a.m.

DUI crash: Jeffrey Herforth, 25, of 551 Elm St., Canonsburg, faces a charge of DUI after crashing his pickup truck Friday night on Route 19 near Chubbic Road. North Strabane police said his truck went over a hillside. Herforth told police he was going north when a vehicle swerved in front of him, forcing him off the road. His truck went behind a guardrail and over a hill, hitting a tree. A witness reported seeing a car swerve in front of the truck. Herforth was taken to Canonsburg Hospital for treatment. Police said charges are pending the outcome of blood tests.

ATV theft: Michael Gabauer of Stone Church Road in Union reported to Southwest Regional police someone stole a 2003 Honda quad from his detached garage between Nov. 16 and Friday. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-929-8484.

Officer injured: Howard Miller, 41, of 145 W. Walnut St., Washington, is charged by city police with aggravated assault, resisting arrest and making terroristic threats following a domestic dispute at his residence about 9 p.m. Sunday, court records indicate. Police said officer Willis McConnell was treated at a hospital for injuries to his wrist and thumb he suffered while Miller struggled with officer Matthew McConnell. Miller is in Washington County jail on $35,000 bond set by District Judge Larry Hopkins.

Foot chase: Ronald K. Smith, 43, of 153 Lightner Run Road, Sycamore, is charged by state police with driving under the influence of alcohol, escape and resisting arrest following a traffic stop about 7:15 p.m. Friday along Route 40 west. Police said they chased Smith on foot behind a gasoline station and to a grassy hill after he walked away from his vehicle and then began to run from the traffic stop. He is in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond set by District Judge Larry Hopkins.

Criminal mischief charge: Washington police charged Latica M. Lewis 23, of Uniontown, with criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and harassment after she allegedly vandalized a car parked at 113 Maple Ave. in the city and assaulted a woman with a wooden sign post at 10:20 p.m. Friday.

Simple assault at hospital: Matthew Lauterbach, 29, of 3200 Brownsville Road, Finleyville, was charged with simple assault after city police said he caused a disturbance at Washington Hospital and punched a security guard Oct. 15.

Tenants accused of harassment: Harold Conklin, 36, and Jenny Conklin, 34, both of 180 Windsor Road, Washington, were charged with harassment after city police said they threatened their landlord during phone calls Nov. 5.

Fight leads to charges: Tamara Ferguson, 42, and Gary McMahon, 57, both of 135 Henderson Ave., Washington, were charged with disorderly conduct and harassment following an argument at their residence Nov. 5.
