Hit-and-run crash: A charge of driving under the influence is pending against a woman who Canonsburg police said crashed into a parked car in the borough early Wednesday morning and ran from the wreck. Police said Ruth A. Reese, 43, of 542 Elm St., North Strabane, crashed into a parked car in the 600 block of West College Street about 12:30 a.m. and left her vehicle in the road. Police said they found her riding in a friend’s car a few minutes later and took her to a local hospital for blood testing.

Burglary charge: Brandon J. Nictora, 18, of Canonsburg, will be charged with burglary, trespassing, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief after borough police said he entered his former apartment at 433 Adams Ave. about 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Man jailed: Erik Semko, 20, of 4704 Williamsport Road, Forward Township, is charged by borough police with receiving stolen property over accusations he had a stolen tablet worth $300 Nov. 7 in the 500 block of Sycamore Alley, court records indicate. He is in Washington County jail on $15,000 bond set Tuesday by District Judge Larry Hopkins.

House burglarized: A home in the 10 block of Garber Road was burglarized Tuesday morning and $2,000 worth of jewelry was taken from the residence.

Items stolen in burglary: An apartment unit at 109 Church St. in Washington was burglarized Tuesday morning, city police said, and a laptop computer, stereo speakers and $1,000 in cash were stolen.
