The Washington Health System Teen Outreach will hold its 21st annual AIDS Awareness Day program from 4 to 5 p.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church 1793, 100 E. Wheeling St., Washington.

The 2014 worldwide theme is Focus, Partner, Achieve: An AIDS Free Generation, which underscores the importance of engaging youth in education. Information on AIDS Awareness is available at http://aids.gov/news-and-events/awareness-days/world-aids-day/.

Over a million people in the United States are living with HIV; an estimated one in six people are not aware of their infection, About one in four new HIV infections occurs among youth ages 13 to 24.

Portions of the AIDS quilt are on display at the church.
