Crashes into parked car: Cau Phan, 57, of 159 Francis Mine State Road, Smith Township, was charged with driving under the influence, public drunkenness, careless driving and accident involving damage after McDonald police said he crashed into a parked car at 150 Center Ave. in Burgettstown Monday.

Single-car crash: State police said a driver suffered minor injuries Friday morning when her car hit an icy spot in Donegal Township and crashed. Juanita L. Roupe, 56, of West Finley, was driving south on Route 231 shortly after 5 a.m. when her car crashed into an embankment and the vehicle rolled over near Saw Hill Road, police said. Roupe, who was wearing a seatbelt, was treated at the scene and released, police said.

DUI charge: Richard A. Mundroff, 48, of 24 Nickolay Road, Cross Creek, was charged with DUI, careless driving and accident involving unattended property after McDonald police said he backed into a stop sign at Campbell Street and Route 50 in Independence Township just before midnight Monday.
