ELVERSON – Authorities said two people were found dead inside a house after a firefighting crew put out a blaze at the home in Chester County in southeast Pennsylvania.

The Pennsylvania State Police said the Twin Valley Fire Department found the one-story, ranch-style home ablaze about 1:30 a.m. Saturday and put out the fire. Both occupants – a 64-year-old woman and a 67-year-old man – were found dead, according to the state police. Their names were not released, pending notification of the next of kin.

Authorities say they do not consider the Warwick Township fire suspicious but continue to investigate the cause.
