Harassment charge: Jules William Redman, 48, of 110 Church St., Midway, will be charged by McDonald police with harassment after he allegedly got into an argument with his sister, Margaret Zombeck, and shoved her. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Gary Havelka.

Retail theft: Ahmad R. Vaden, 34, of 3030 Lynn Portal Road, Washington, was arraigned Thursday before District Judge Robert Redlinger on charges of retail theft, making false reports and receiving stolen property. Vaden is accused of stealing four silver necklaces from two Sears stores and three jerseys from Game Day Gear at 1500 W. Chestnut St., North Franklin Township police said. He was placed in Washington County jail.

Indecent assault charge: Nicholas J. Kozar, 23, of 1306 Main St., Bentleyville, was charged last week by North Strabane police with indecent assault and harassment. He is accused of inappropriately touching a woman inside a barn at The Meadows Racetrack Sept. 18. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Gaming violation: Tsan Pin Su, 62, of Pittsburgh, was charged by state police with fraudulent placing of a bet. The charge, which stems from a Texas Hold’em game Sept. 21 at The Meadows Casino, Racetrack Road, will be sent from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Theft, receiving charges: Laura Jean Cleary, 40, of 247 Weavertown Road, North Strabane, was arraigned this week before District Judge Jay Weller and waived a hearing on charges of theft and receiving stolen property. She is accused of pocketing $1,215 from refunds and stealing $2,000 in lottery money while working at Sheetz, Washington Road, earlier this year. She also is accused of stealing Vicodin from a co-worker. North Strabane police charged her with two counts of theft and one count of receiving stolen property.

Retail theft charge: Alecia Marie Bentz, 21, of 26 Erie St., Washington, was charged this week by South Strabane police with retail theft after she allegedly stole items from Wal-Mart, Trinity Point, on Aug. 12. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Two injured: Two women were injured Wednesday afternoon when their vehicles collided on Washington Road at Davis School Road. South Strabane police said Aleksandra Slavkovic, 49, of Mt. Lebanon, was stopped in the left, northbound lane for a red light when her vehicle was hit from behind by a sport utility vehicle driven by Aleesha Sentner, 20, of 320 N. Jefferson Ave., Canonsburg. Both women were taken to Washington Hospital for treatment.

Charges waived: Michael Robert Jordan, 26, formerly of Canonsburg, was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and waived a hearing on a charge of retail theft Tuesday. Jordan, who is currently incarcerated at SCI-Camp Hill, is accused by South Strabane police of stealing an electric toothbrush and nicotine gum May 16 from Wal-Mart, Trinity Point.

DUI, paraphernalia charges: Jeremy Paul Zollars, 34, of 243 Pyle Road, Jefferson, was charged this week by state police with possession of marijuana, driving under the influence of several narcotics and traffic violations stemming from a June 27 traffic stop on Route 19 in South Strabane. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Two charged: Donald Eugene Allen, 44, of 350 E. Hallam Ave., Washington, and Marvelle Michelle Jennings, 34, of Midland, were charged by McDonald police in connection with a Sept. 24 traffic stop on West Main Street in West Middletown. Allen is charged with DUI of alcohol and marijuana, having an open container of beer and speeding. Jennings is charged with possession of paraphernalia and having an open container of beer. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Ethan Ward.

Theft charges: Ron Boyer, 22, of 84 W. Wheeling St., Washington, was arraigned Thursday before District Judge Robert Redlinger on a theft charge. Boyer is accused of stealing 102 cartons of cigarettes from Dragich’s Main Street Market, 16 S. Main St., July 22, city police said. Boyer was placed in Washington County jail.

Drug charge: David W. Kempf, 33, of 14 Acheson Ave., Washington, was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger on the charge of possession of heroin. Kempf is accused of possessing heroin during a county adult probation compliance check, city police said. Kempf was placed in Washington County jail.

Escape charge: Corey L. Sexton, 21, of 370 Duncan Ave., Washington, was arraigned Thursday before District Judge Robert Redlinger on an escape charge. Sexton is accused of failing to return to the county jail after being granted leave, city police said. He was returned to jail.

Forgery, theft and conspriacy charges: Mary Hall, 33, of 113 Boyd Ave., Canonsburg, was arraigned Thursday before District Judge Robert Redlinger on charges of forgery, criminal conspiracy, retail theft and providing false identification. Hall is accused of passing counterfeit $20 bills at McDonald’s, 999 Jefferson Ave., and Pickle’s Pub, 796 Ewing St., and stealing items from Shop ‘n Save, 125 W. Beau St., city police said. Hall was placed in Washington County jail.
