The East Bethlehem Volunteer Fire Co. will host an open house from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the station, 831 Crawford Road, Fredericktown.

The open house will showcase the members and equipment, as well as demonstrate their level of training and services provided to the community.

There will be demonstrations by the dive team and of fire equipment. There also will be demonstrations in the proper use of fire extinguishers. Children can visit with Smokey the Fire Dog and get their photograph taken with firefighting equipment. Information on displaying house numbers and alerting 911 also will be available.

Also on display will be equipment from the Brownsville Ambulance Service, Lifeflight, a health services team from Allegheny General Hospital and Washington County’s Department of Public Safety.

Guests also will be treated to hot dogs.
