Area man sentenced for DUI

WAYNESBURG – A Carmichaels man convicted of driving under the influence of alcohol was sentenced Wednesday by Greene County Judge Farley Toothman to six months in the county intermediate punishment program.

Theodore Bynum Presock, 63, of 220 Inwood Ave., was found guilty of DUI and a summary violation during a nonjury trial before Toothman July 18.

As part of the sentence, Presock must serve 20 days of house arrest. This will be followed by regular supervision. He was fined $1,025.

Presock was stopped by Cumberland Township Jan. 19, 2013, for a registration violation. He had a blood-alcohol content of 0.203 percent.
