Section of Interstate 70 west closed to to wall failure

A section of westbound Interstate 70 where it crosses over the Wheeling and Lake Erie Railroad in Rostraver Township, Westmoreland County, has been closed and a detour is being used.
The closure is in place due to a support wall failure, the state Department of Transportation said.
Traffic on the westbound side of I-70 will be detoured using Route 51 and Route 201. PennDOT did not indicate how long the closure would be in place.
