Fall festival planned at Bowlby Library
WAYNESBURG – The Bowlby Public Library is hosting its annual After Hours Fall Festival from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday.
Families of all shapes and sizes are invited to attend and participate in the fall festivities.
There will be a number of family-friendly activities, such as scarecrow dressing, gourd tossing, pumpkin bowling, bobbing for donuts, harvest bingo, candy corn challenge and harvest-themed snacks.
After having filled up on fun activities, the lights are turned off and from 7 to 8 p.m. the public is invited to participate in a “Haunted Library” tour.
For only one hour, guests will be escorted through various rooms of the library mansion, where things may feel chillier and creepier with the lights off.
Watch your back!
There may be creatures and ghosts lurking behind every corner.
