Numerous people recently appeared in Washington County Court on criminal charges.

Appearing before Judge John DiSalle were:

Sandra Sheppard, 32, 836 1/2 Duncan Ave., Washington; access device fraud and criminal mischief; charged Feb. 2; sentence – 2 years of Intermediate Punishment program, 90 days of probation and restitution.

Ronald J. Pietz, 21, 38 Bay Drive, Bunola; resisting arrest and false identification to law enforcement; charged Aug. 4, 2013; sentence – 12 months of probation.

Laurel A. McFeely, 40, 1011 McKean Ave., Charleroi; defiant trespass and possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Dec. 15, 2013; sentence – 12 months in jail with credit for time served, 12 months of probation and restitution.

Merle E. Galentine Jr., 35, 2490 S Bridge Road, Washington; retail theft; charged March 15; sentence – 9 months of probation, retail theft classes, restitution and banned from Wal-Mart.

Clinton E. Linder, 31, 1095 Sugar Run Road, Venetia; simple assault; charged Sept. 16, 2013; sentence – 23 months of probation and domestic violence counseling.

James A. Anthony, 47, 3842 Kelly Hollow Road, Monongahela; theft by unlawful taking; charged Nov. 17; sentence – 12 months of probation with credit for time served, restitution and banned from Sims Metal Management.

Ashley M. Bird, 31, 16 Mark Ave., Washington; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Nov. 15; sentence – 12 months of probation.

Michael S. Boyan, 44, 133 Hunting Creek Road, Canonsburg; simple assault; charged June 10, 2013; sentence – 23 months of probation, anger-management counseling, restitution and no contact with victim.
