North Franklin to offer free car seat checks

North Franklin Township Police Department is conducting free car seat safety checks at the Washington Crown Center parking lot on Oct. 23 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday.

Technicians will be on hand to check car seats and to instruct drivers on the proper installation of the seats.

Drivers should bring their vehicle owners’ and car seat manuals.

The checks will be held in the lot between Washington Financial Bank and Gander Mountain.
