Disorderly, drunkenness charges: Benjamin K. Suehr, 22, of Burgettstown, was charged by California police with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after he allegedly threw a beer bottle on the ground, shattering it, after he was asked to leave J Coles Inn, Third Street, early Saturday. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Joshua Kanalis.
Charged in crash: David J. Urbanik, 63, of Washington, will be charged by state police this week with leaving the scene of a crash after his vehicle allegedly struck a vehicle owned by Sheren L. Donley of Washington Sept. 26 in front of 489 Wayne St., Canton. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.
Faces drug charges: Sharon Wilson, 40, of 312 Chestnut St., Monessen, was placed in Washington County jail Tuesday on $50,000 bond after her arrest on several drug-related charges, according to an affidavit filed in the office of District Judge James Ellis. Wilson is charged with six felony counts of possession with the intent to deliver heroin and one count each of possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia. A confidential informant made a purchase from Wilson in the 300 block of Washington Avenue at 6:46 p.m. Tuesday. After the informant made the purchase and got out of Wilson’s vehicle, police stopped it. Inside Wilson’s wallet, police found $478 plus the $80 from the confidential informant and a bundle of heroin, police said. Four additional bundles were found in Wilson’s bra for a total of 57 individual stamp bags.
Theft charge: Megan M. Adams, 21, of 106 Fonner Run Road, Sycamore, was charged by North Franklin police with retail theft for allegedly stealing clothing from Sears, Washington Crown Center, Friday and putting the items in a large diaper bag. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.
Jacket stolen: Melissa Ashmore of Houston told North Franklin police earlier this month her suede Pittsburgh Steelers jacket she took to Shuey’s Cleaners, West Chestnut Street, Sept. 12 was stolen from the business.
Compressor stolen: An air compressor was reported stolen earlier this month from a garage at Red Carpet Golf, 2200 Old National Pike, North Franklin police said.
Jeans, headphones stolen: Kevin R. Ledbetter, 464 E. Hallam Ave., Washington, was charged by North Franklin police with felony retail theft after he allegedly stole four pairs of jeans and two sets of headphones from Macy’s, Washington Crown Center, on separate occasions last month. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.
Escapes injury: Michael Magiske, 29, of 2010 Majestic Drive, Canonsburg, escaped injury Tuesday afternoon after his vehicle went off Wilson Road north of Route 519, went up an embankment and rolled over, North Strabane police said.
Theft, mischief charges: Clarence Parkinson, 49, of 75 Lindley Road, North Strabane, was charged Friday by township police with theft and criminal mischief after he allegedly dug up a neighbor’s wooden planter containing decorative stone earlier this month. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
Theft charge: Tiffany Bollinger, 31, of Bellvue, was charged Friday by South Strabane police with felony retail theft for allegedly stealing items valued at $178 from Walmart, Trinity Point, in July. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
