Speers Bridge preservation plans to be shown

The state Department of Transportation will conduct a public display of plans on Oct. 30 for the proposed Interstate 70 Speers Bridge preservation project. The bridge spans the Monongahela River between North Belle Vernon, Westmoreland County, and Speers, Washington County.

The event will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Belle Vernon borough building, 10 Main St.
