Vehicle damaged: Elaine Brown of McDonald told McDonald police the rear driver’s side door of her vehicle was damaged Thursday while it was parked in a lot at 218-220 E. Lincoln Ave.
Driver faces charges: Cody Z. Anderson, 22, of Canonsburg, faces charges stemming from a traffic stop early Sunday on Interstate 79 northbound in South Strabane. Police said he was driving erratically. Anderson reportedly admitted to police he had been smoking marijuana. Police also found a glass vial containing Ecstasy residue. Charges will be filed pending chemical analysis, police said.
Door torn off: Luke Morrison, 26, of Colerain, Ohio, escaped injury Friday when the driver’s door of his pickup truck was torn off by another pickup truck after he pulled over on Interstate 79 southbound north of the north junction with Interstate 70 in South Strabane. State police said the driver of the other truck, Mark E. Raposky, 53, of Donora, failed to move to the left to avoid the open door.
Windshield broken: Joseph Umphrey, of 33 W. Main St., West Middletown, told state police Saturday vandals broke the windshield on his pickup truck. Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 724-223-5200.
