Route 88 section to close for rail crossing repairs

A section of Route 88 (Front Street) will be closed at the railroad crossing between the intersections of Fishpot Run Drive and Beallsville Road in East Bethlehem Township from Monday through Nov. 5.
The closure will be in place to allow Norfolk Southern railway crews to replace tracks and roadway surface. A posted detour will be in place, using Route 88 to Route 43 to Route 40 to Interstate 79 south at Exit 33, to Route 21 East at the Masontown/Waynesburg to Interstate 79 Exit 14, continue on Route 21 to Route 88.
