Greene County Veterans Affairs office van will not run Nov. 5 and Nov. 9 through Nov. 12, because the driver will not be available.

The Center Township Volunteer Fire Department auxiliary will serve food on election day, Nov. 4, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the fire hall in Rogersville. The breakfast menu will include sausage gravy and biscuits. Lunch items will be hot dogs, sloppy Joes, ham barbecue sandwiches, bean soup and corn bread, cabbage and noodles, desserts and drinks. The dinner menu will be creamed chicken and biscuits, mashed potatoes, green beans, applesauce, desserts and drinks. Cost for dinner is $8 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. Breakfast and lunch items are priced individually. Carryout is available.

Greene County Leathernecks Toys for Tots dinner/dance will be held Nov. 8 at Waynesburg Moose. Dinner times are 6 and 7 p.m. and a dance will follow. Cost is $20 and reservations can be made by calling 724-627-8028.
