HARRISBURG (AP) – Attorney General Kathleen Kane suffered a concussion last week when the driver of her state vehicle struck a parked car in northeastern Pennsylvania, her office said Friday. Two agents were also injured.

Kane’s office released a copy of the Dunmore police report on the crash and said she wasn’t wearing her seatbelt in the backseat of the vehicle. Kane was working from home as she heals.

“Her documents are being transported for signature, and she’s in constant communication with her staff,” Martin said.

Her driver told police he took his eyes off the road to pick up his iPad, which had fallen to the floor, according to the incident report. That’s when their Chevy Tahoe struck the parked car.

Kane, the driver and a third occupant sought hospital treatment. The other vehicle was not occupied.
