Chain saws stolen: Two residents of Kelley Road, Buffalo, told state police chain saws were stolen from their sheds. Scott Chambers reported an 18-inch Stihl chain saw stolen Aug. 24 while Vaughn Hixenbaugh reported 18-inch Stihl and Husqvarna chain saws stolen Sunday.

Power cord stolen: State police said 250-feet of one-inch power cord valued at $1,000 was reported stolen Saturday from Nomac, 1200 E. National Pike, North Bethlehem. The chain link fence and breaker box door were also damaged.

Wanted on warrant: David M. Tittle, 48, of Bridgeport, Ohio, was arrested early Saturday by North Franklin police as a fugitive from justice stemming from a traffic stop in the 1500 block of West Chestnut Street. He was a passenger in a vehicle driven by his son. When they were stopped, he got out and ran from police who used a Taser to subdue him. Tittle, who is wanted on a warrant in Belmont County, Ohio, was arraigned before District Judge Mark Wilson and placed in Washington County jail without bond pending extradition to Ohio.

One injured: One person was injured in a three-vehicle crash just before noon Monday in the 1300 block of West Chestnut Street, North Franklin police said. Vehicles driven by Kurt Brandtonies, 55, of Washington, and Vladimir Kravets, 23, of New Holland, were traveling east with Brandtonies in the far right lane. Roy Eugene Black, 39, of Spiro, Okla., pulled from the Taco Bell, hitting Brandtonies’ vehicle and knocking it into Kravets’ vehicle before spinning around. Brandtonies 54-year-old wife, Janet Brandtonies, was taken to Washington Hospital for treatment of pain in her side.

Attacked with cactus: Patricia Jones, 39, of 206 Baltimore Ave., was charged by North Franklin police with harassment for allegedly going to the home of her neighbor, Crystal Lynn Stewart, 210 Baltimore, and creating a disturbance. She allegedly picked up a cactus from the porch and hit Stewart with it in the face, arms and legs.

Drug charges pending: Two Waynesburg men face drug charges after they were found with suspected heroin and paraphernalia Sunday by Washington police while in a parking lot on Jefferson Avenue under the Interstate 70 viaduct.

Threats arrest: Scott Carrell, 50, of 520 Jefferson Ave., Washington, was arrested Sunday by Washington police on charges of terroristic threats, public drunkenness, harassment and loitering and prowling at night for allegedly threatening his girlfriend, Amy Koussonmbus. Police were called to the home earlier. He was arraigned before District Judge Mark Wilson and placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.

Mischief, threat charges: Brandon Templeton, 28, of 1058 Allison Ave., Washington, was arrested Sunday by Washington police after he refused to leave a home at 643 Allison. He reportedly threatened his girlfriend and her friend. A porch railing was also broken during the incident. He was arraigned before District Judge Mark Wilson on charges of terroristic threats, criminal mischief and criminal trespass. He was placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.

Disorderly charge: Todd M. Boyer, 50, 117 Meadow View Road, Washington, will be charged with disorderly conduct and driving under suspension after he allegedly hit a fence with his vehicle at the intersection of Hallam and North Main Street Saturday.

Phone stolen: Sherry Smith, 102 Jollick Manor, told Washington police Saturday her cellphone was stolen. Charges are pending against the alleged thief.

Drug arrest: Daniel R. Becker, 22, of 1160 N. Main St., Washington, was arrested Friday by Washington police on charges of possession of cocaine and paraphernalia after he was found with the suspected drugs along with four cellphones and packaging material in the 300 block of Locust Avenue. He was arraigned before District Judge Mark Wilson and placed in Washington County Jail on $25,000 bond.

House burglarized: Trent Ward, 275 Shirls Ave., told Washington police Friday that an XBox game console and games were stolen in a burglary of his home. A husky, white man wearing blue jeans and ball cap was seen entering the home.

Endangerment charge: Trisha Krepp, 32, of 98 W. Wheeling St., Washington, was arrested Friday by Washington police on charges of endangering the welfare of children, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after she allegedly created a disturbance at Avis Arbors in the presence of her daughter. She also reportedly tried to his a police officer. She admitted to drinking a bottle of Listerine, police said. She was arraigned before District Judge Mark Wilson and placed in Washington County Jail on $5,000 bond.

Man assaulted: Arthur Holmes, 68, who is homeless according to Washington police, told police Friday that he was assaulted by six people in the 10 block of North Main Street.

Account accessed: Regina Higginbotham of Michigan Avenue told Washington police Friday more than $17,500 was stolen from her checking account by someone who forged her signature on checks. She told police she now has a negative balance in her account.

GPS stolen: Jane Zaremba, 695 Donnan Ave., told Washington police Friday that a global positioning system was stolen from her vehicle.
