State police and emergency personnel were called about 6:40 a.m. today to an accident involving a pedestrian in the area of the 1200 block of West Chestnut Street in Canton Township. Troopers cleared the scene about 7:15 a.m. The injury to the pedestrian is not believed to be serious.
